Accordingly, CMC TI use international internet channel of communication with a capacity of up to 2.5Gbps through Inter-Asia sea fiber cable line (IA) of EVNTelecom for 5 years for the purpose of service business under telecommunication infrastructure extension project based on FTTx – GPON technology. This telecommunication infrastructure service was established in order to meet all demands for telecommunication services and multi-media entertainment on the only linkage path in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City.
By now, Inter-Asia sea fiber cable system (IA) is the biggest sea fiber cable system in Vietnam which is exploited and jointly invested by EVNTelecom with big telecommunication exploiters in the world and has designed data transmission speed of up to 3.84Tbit/second. The system is connected directly to Hong Kong, Singapore, Japan with the lowest delay, operates the most stably and an important fiber cable line to transmit the capacity to the US and EU for customers in Vietnam and in the region.
