CMC rises to second place in ranking of technology brands with the highest brand strength index in Vietnam
A ceremony to honor "Top 100 most valuable brands of Vietnam in 2023" was held by Brand Finance in collaboration with Mibrand Vietnam
Also at the ceremony to announce "Top 100 most valuable brands of Vietnam in 2023", CMC Corporation was named the winner of two other prestigious awards, namely: Top 100 most valuable brands of Vietnam and Top 2 Vietnamese Technology Brands with the highest brand strength index in 2023. The Top 100 enterprises were awarded official certificates of their ranking, national brand value and brand health index in Vietnam by Brand Finance and Mibrand Vietnam. Brand Finance's brand value ranking is built on a brand valuation method that meets the ISO 10668 standard and is the most prestigious ranking in the world today.
In addition to calculating brand value, Brand Finance also determines brand strength through the evaluation of marketing and investment, stakeholder equity and business performance. The high ranking of CMC Corporation is thanks to its ability to maintain growth rates in the markets it is investing in, a stable brand health index, desirable expected revenue and constantly increasing brand value in the last 5 years.
Accordingly, by the end of fiscal year 2022, the total consolidated net revenue of CMC Corporation is 8,364 billion VND, up 21% over the same period last year and fulfilling 97% of plan in 2022. Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) is 888 billion VND, up 27% compared to the same period last year and fulfilling 98% of plan in 2022. The main business fields all had higher growth rates compared to the previous year, notably: International Business Department has outstanding growth compared to 2021, with revenue increased by 62% and completing 104% of the annual plan; profit increased by 24% over the same period; Revenues of Technology & Solution and Digital Infrastructure all grew by 13% and 14% and completing 101% and 90% of the annual plan, respectively.

Also at the event, a talk show on the topic of: "Green development – A suitable approach for Vietnamese brands" took place with the participation of Mr. Hoang Minh Chien - Deputy Director General of Trade Promotion Department, Ministry of Industry and Trade as well as representatives of leading enterprises in Vietnam. In his speech, Mr. Hoang Minh Chien highly appreciated the efforts of leading enterprises for sustainable brand development, and also outlined the challenges that need to be overcome in order to seize opportunities and create positive breakthroughs for the whole industry.
