PCI DSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard) is a mandatory information security standard for businesses that store, transmit and process payment cards managed by five international payment institutions: Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover and JCB. The management of PCI DSS is entrusted by the above-mentioned international payment institutions to the PCI Security Standards Council (PCI SSC). This is the assessment standard that increases control over cardholder data and prevent frauds and thefts of payment card data. The certification is valid for one year, and businesses must perform periodic re-evalutions.

JetPay Joint Stock Company is an entity licensed to conduct intermediary payment transactions, including: payment infrastructure, payment gateway, cash collection and payment; electronic funds transfer and e-wallets.
