The survey and ranking of Top 50 listed companies are conducted using scientific methods of measurement in accordance with international standards, with the advice of financial analysts from Thien Viet Securities Company, Vietnam Investment Group (VIG) and Vietnam Capital Partners (VCP); many of whom are experts from Harvard Business School (USA) and other prestigious international business organizations.

The Survey Council of Top 50 always maintain 3 criteria for selecting enterprises into the survey round: (1) Listed on Vietnam's stock market and having capitalization value of VND 1,500 billion or more; (2) Revenue in three consecutive fiscal years of VND 250 billion or more; (3) Profit after tax in three consecutive fiscal years of VND 25 billion or more. The survey results aim to objectively assess the governance capacity of enterprises, thereby seeking and honoring listed companies with the best performance.

A highlight in "Vietnam's Top 50 Best-performing Companies 2022" is that changes have been witnessed regarding the leading industries in many fields as Vietnam's macro-economy is growing strong. In particular, real estate and banking industries have given their places to financial services and retail business.

After a decade (2010-2021) of conducting this survey, Top 50 has become the playground of the large and best-performing enterprises in many key economic sectors of Vietnam, such as banking, manufacturing, retail, health, aviation, etc. Notably, the constant rise of private enterprises is proved with the emergence of many fast-growing and sustainable companies, which have been awarded the title of Vietnam economic star.
