CMC Telecom's CMC Cloud receives Ho Chi Minh ICT Awards

On 28 December 2019, CMC Telecom's CMC Cloud service was ranked in top 3 "Prominent Value-added service providers" within the framework of the 11th Ho Chi Minh ICT Awards in 2019.

After nearly 5 months of evaluation, CMC Cloud has demonstrated the ability to meet strict criteria of the judging committee regarding revenue, number of customers, potential of development, social needs and practical applicability, thus is honored to receive Ho Chi Minh ICT Awards.

Launched in 2017, from only 2 services of Elastic Compute and Elastic GPU, today CMC Telecom has introduced new solutions on CMC Cloud Platform such as Smart Camera for face detection, or Big Data for retail chains, AI application for online marketing or IBM Cloud Private for specific industries such as banking, insurance and finance.

With CMC Cloud service, CMC Telecom is currently ranked in the top 2 companies with highest revenue in the cloud computing market of Vietnam with over 40,000 virtual servers in operation and nearly 30,000 business customers who are effectively running their IT system on CMC Cloud platform.

Recently, on 8 November 2019, CMC Cloud has become the only Cloud platform in Vietnam to directly connect to Cloud platform of three technology giants: AWS, Microsoft and Google. This means CMC Telecom is the first company in Vietnam to provide Multi-Cloud solution, which allows customers to use Portal CMC Cloud to directly initialize Cloud Server and administer right on resource infrastructure of Amazon Web Service, Google Cloud and Microsoft Azure or Private Cloud located at customer's Data Center. 

In addition, CMC Telecom also provides separate routes that connect these "clouds" through Google Cloud Interconnect, Microsoft Azure ExpressRoute and AWS Direct Connect, ensuring low latency, high stability and absolute security.

With the prestigious Ho Chi Minh ICT Awards granted by the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City, CMC Telecom once again demonstrates its capacity to provide flexible cloud infrastructure solutions with strong performance for the market in Vietnam.
